The entrepreneurial odyssey of our Co-Founder Luke Appleton began with live poker, where his knack for reading opponents and making calculated risks propelled him to success across multiple cash circuit tournaments.

His foray into crypto then began in 2017, when Bitcoin’s first ever $1000 valuation became the talk of the poker table. After making his first BTC investments around this time, 2018 then saw him quit his role at a financial advisors to focus on crypto full-time.

After a successful spell arbitrage trading throughout the 2020 bull market, Luke then joined forces with his old friend Conrad Lewis (A.K.A. Brock) to establish a coordinated crypto fund.

…Little did they know, but such venture sparked the foundations behind the formidable founding duo of CryptoPresale…

The 2021 bull market then served as the perfect learning period for Luke, as through leveraging his marketing nous and social media expertise, he helped launch and grow multiple Web3 projects via new and innovative methods.

Naturally, there comes a time for ambitious, multi-faceted Web3 consultants to go off and launch their own thing. For Luke and Conrad, 2023 marked this period…and so with a shared, unilateral vision to revolutionize the blockchain gaming space, the pair’s first passion-fuelled Web3 project got underway; Pikamoon.

Come the end of 2023 - and after realizing the vast potential they had at their hands - the duo then made the almighty decision to bring everything in-house. Ultimately, this brings us to the birth of CryptoPresale in Q4 2023.

Away From Business

Luke’s excellence spills over into the sporting realm, as he’s previously been part of the junior British gymnastics squad, his local county cricket team, and the top-tier of the UK’s senior hockey league.

As of 2024, he has turned his interest towards martial arts, as he’s currently learning the craft of kickboxing (K1 style).
